On November 13, 2020, Meng Lianzhou, Chairman of Ruifeng Company, led a delegation of nine members to China FAW for in-depth discussions.
Currently, Ruifeng has established a close cooperative relationship with FAW. The joint project to produce 140,000 B‑III 1.5T engine blocks is progressing smoothly and has now entered mass production. To meet growing product demand, Ruifeng is expanding its production capacity. To further deepen cooperation between FAW and Ruifeng, the local governments of Hengshui and Shenzhou dispatched a delegation of nine members to China FAW Group Corporation on November 13 for in-depth discussions. During the meeting, FAW expressed full recognition of Ruifeng Power and stated that it would broaden the scope of collaboration and establish a strategic partnership.
1. Hebei Ruifeng Power Cylinder Block Co., Ltd. and Changchun FAW Powertrain Co., Ltd. currently collaborate to supply finished cylinder blocks for the 4GB third-generation engine, with an annual delivery volume of 100,000 units and annual sales revenue of RMB 100 million. For 2021, Ruifeng has planned an annual production capacity of 140,000 units, which could generate annual sales of up to RMB 140 million.
2. In 2021, FAW Powertrain Company set an annual production target of 400,000 units, with a planned output of 600,000 units for 2022, primarily relying on the 4GB third-generation and 4GC third-generation engines as its main powertrain sources. Specifically, the 2021 plan calls for an annual production capacity of 150,000 units for the 4GB third-generation engine and 250,000 units for the 4GC third-generation engine.
3. The third-generation 4GC engine has a displacement of 2.0 liters and is primarily used in the Hongqi H9, Hongqi HS5, Hongqi H5, and Bestune T99 models. In 2021, production was planned to exceed 250,000 units. Through government support, the company aims to secure supply chain integration for this engine series, establish a strategic partnership with FAW, gradually expand collaboration, and achieve annual sales of RMB 250 million.
4. Gradually develop new energy technologies and high-end aluminum alloy components for vehicle lightweighting, providing a strategic product platform to support Ruifeng’s transformation.
