On the morning of June 28, 2021, the Party General Branch of Ruifeng Company held a ceremony to present the “50 Years of Glory in the Party” commemorative medals to several veteran Party members.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee issued the “Notice on Carrying Out the Issuance of the ‘Glory in the Party for 50 Years’ Commemorative Medal,” deciding to award this medal for the first time in 2021. This initiative is an important component of the celebrations marking the Party’s centenary and holds great significance for strengthening Party members’ sense of honor, belonging, and mission, as well as for rallying the entire Party behind the sustained efforts to realize the goals set out in the 14th Five-Year Plan and the 2035 Vision. The Notice specifies that the inaugural recipients of the “Glory in the Party for 50 Years” Commemorative Medal are living Party members who, as of July 1, 2021, have reached 50 years of Party membership and have consistently demonstrated exemplary conduct. It calls on Party organizations at all levels to attach great importance to this task, tailor their efforts to the specific circumstances of their respective regions, departments, and units, and meticulously carry out statistical work and organize the award‑giving process, ensuring that every eligible Party member receives the medal before July 1 and deeply feels the care and warmth of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core.
Following a preliminary survey conducted by higher authorities, RuiFeng Company has nine Party members who meet the eligibility criteria: Zhao Yanmin, Hao Zhixin, Wang Zhentao, Zhang Yuexuan, Liu Zhanqing, Liu Zhende, Hu Huilai, He Zhanqi, and Zhang Yongxue. 6 On the morning of the 28th, the Party General Branch of Ruifeng Company held a ceremony to present the “50 Years of Glory in the Party” commemorative medals to several veteran Party members. Li Xueyong, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Shenzhou Economic Development Zone in Hebei Province, along with members of the leadership team, and Meng Lianzhou, Secretary of the Party General Branch of Ruifeng Company, presented the medals to the honored veterans.
Following the ceremony, all Party members solemnly raised their right hands and reaffirmed their oath of admission, expressing with fervent passion and resounding voices the pride and sense of mission that come with being Communist Party members, thereby further strengthening their ideals and convictions and keeping their Party identity firmly in mind at all times.
